Evonik’s new Tego Pep 4-Comfort cosmetic active ingredient debuted at this year’s In-Cosmetics tradeshow in London. This tetrapeptide selectively relieves typical symptoms of sensitive skin, visibly calming and revitalizing the skin. Sensitive skin is a problem for more than 50% of the world’s population. Although the mechanisms underlying hypersensitivity have not yet been clarified in detail, Evonik maintains the number of people affected has risen steadily over the past several years.
